| April 19 Saturday Overnite ride to Cherokee and Harrah's Casino. Leaving Post 144 at 9am and meeting up with the Lincoln/Lake Norman group at Exit 23 on Hwy 321 in Lincolnton. If you plan to spend the night you can make hotel reservations with Comfort Inn Cherokee 1-800-228-5150 or 1-828-497-2411. If you prefer to find other accommodations then feel free to do so. Sunday morning we will have a breakfast buffet at the Country Vittles restaurant in Maggie Valley. |
| April 26 Saturday ALR Yard Sale at Trick 1 Customs in Lincolnton. If you have items you wish to donate or you would like to volunteer to help please call Freda Lawrence at 704-732-1552. Yard Sale officially begins at 8am but we will be there setting up at 7am. This has been a big money maker for us in the past and we hope to see you there. |
| April 26 Saturday Our monthly ALR meeting at Horsefeathers Roadhouse in Sherrills Ford 704-996-0192. Meeting begins at 4pm. Take Hwy 16 N. to Hwy 150. T/R on Hwy 150 and go past Cross Country Camp Ground and T/L at The General Store on Mt. Pleasant rd. Go approximately 2 miles and Horsefeathers Roadhouse will be on the right. This is the same road that takes you to Nell and Eddie's house. |
