Post 144 Riders will meet at 1230hrs at Post 144 on Saturday, August 13th. We will leave the Post at 1300hrs and travel to American Legion Post 82 in Shelby for the ALWS Riders Night.

American Legion Riders & American Legion World Series Baseball Summertime, Baseball and ALR Motorcycles!! All American Legion Riders are invited to participate in the Opening Ceremonies of the 7th Game of the American Legion World Series of Baseball at 1700 (5:00 pm) on Saturday, August 13th at Shelby, N.C. Agenda: Rider activities will begin on Friday, August 12th at 1300 (1:00 pm) with a Hog Roast at the American Legion Post 47, 171 Legion Drive, Waynesville, N.C. and will continue until ??. On Saturday, August 13th assemble at the American Legion Post 82, 1628 South Lafayette, Shelby, N.C. no later than 1500 (3:00 pm) for an all Riders Briefing. National Commander will address ALR assembled there at 1600 (4:00 pm). We will depart Post 82 in formation with a Police Escort to the Stadium. The Stadium is approx. 2 miles away (slow speeds and large & small bike flags okay). We will then enter the Stadium on our motorcycles and assemble in the outfield for the Opening Ceremonies. After the Opening Ceremonies we will depart the Stadium. There will be Free Admission to Game 7 for Riders wearing vest/shirt with ALR logo hereon!! At approximately 1800 (6:00 pm) we will have a “Get Together” at Post 82 with hamburgers, hot dogs, and “refreshment” provided by Post 82 at a reasonable charge. Riders-you may have guests (non-ALR Riders) so long as the guests are sponsored by an individual in an ALR Chapter !! This activity is not open to any rider off the street or to someone who belongs to another organization unless they are sponsored !!
